This 16-hour class digs deep into the mechanics of shock and trauma in the brain, nervous system, and body, including hormonal responses to stress. Learn how to work with clients who suffer after traumatic events more effectively in all bodywork modalities. We will also go into an introductory level of Biodynamic Craniosacral, and learn to palpate the deep resources of health in the soma of the client. Hands on table work will be balanced with demos, lectures, and exercises that bring the understanding into a clinical perspective and applications.

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR ELIZABETH NEWMAN
Elizabeth Newman B.C.S.T. is an advanced practitioner and teacher in biodynamic processes. Clients span from newborn infants to the elderly. She studies Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Michael Shea of the International School for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in Florida, Neil Pinholster of the Quan Yin Center in Arizona, and Ray Castellino of the Beba Clinic in Santa Barbara. She has completed well over 1,000 hours of study in pediatric and advanced trauma resolution therapies and is enthusiastically committed to lifelong learning. She speaks at conferences, holds seminars across the country, and offers workshops in the biodynamic model.
